Can't believe that got a number grade. Should have been an "A". That bottom boarder is terrible. It's pretty obvious that a bit more than just the coupon got removed.
Zeenuts without coupons, along strip cards should only get "A" grades.
Still a good looking card. A reason enver cared for Zeenuts much is that you cannot actually tell who the player is because the face is lost in shadows. (see my Burns card in the Black Soz thread)

nice pick up guys...
Eric...where do you get your E103 cards, Am i missing them on Ebay?
I would love to try for a E103 set but they are getting very expensive. I did buy a bunch off net 54 last year but a guy offered me good money for them (35-45% over what i paid) so i took the quick cash and now he has them in Goodwin auction. Should be interesting what they get.

wonka thanks for reminding me. when i first got the green walsh i thought "blazer!"...then i went to scott m's registry to compare with his green army and i realized my card resembles a 100 yr old card with all the wear. I seriously think SGC undergraded some of his e98s, as they're prone to do.
Thanks Q but your Walsh is still a blazer too!
On my set, there are definitely a couple of grades that left me scratching my head when they are all basically in the same condition but I learned pretty quickly not to sweat the number on the slab too much. Most collectors adhere to the "buy the card and not the holder" philosophy...

I think you have a canidate for a 4.5.
That's a pretty sharp card, with a nice green background, it looks almost like the T212 Weaver.

Thanks John & Sean, I love the pose. Vic looks like he may have relatives from Transalvania.
Re: February 2008 Pickups
Neat Foxx card I think...A few more upgrades for my T206 set from this month and an older pickup that I just got around to scaning.

John, That Beast is Nice but those T206's are Eye Poppers. Here's one I sent the MO on today.
Re: February 2008 Pickups
A few more pickups for me. Some type 3 T216 Kottons.
My first HOFer from this set:
I really like this horizontal Davis:
And a Broadleaf Business card from a fellow board member. Thanks Sean.

Some great pickups lately. The front of this one looks like an 80...unfortunately the back looks like a 20
It does suck though the holder got cracked in the mail on the way to me but I'll just have to get sgc to reholder it

Re: February 2008 Pickups
Took a chance on this one, no picture in the auction and flakey description. Turned out to be a presentable piece for less than 50 bucks.
Re: February 2008 Pickups
Eric, You didn't buy the Chance because he was a HOFer you bought because you like his ass. There's no fooling me.
That pose has always been a curiousity to me, who the hell approved that card.

That card sure does look familiar. That's the one E98 that i regret getting rid of. Though it did help me to aquire my E107 O'Connor.
So I guess it's not all bad.

Damn....Lee, I just can't keep anything from you guys. Please don't tell my wife. He does have quite the shapely ass.
By the way, thanks for ruining the card for me. I will never look at it the same.
