Re: February Pickups
Love the solo PC on the left Chris, kinda reminds me of a giant size E121.
Great pickups!
Great pickups!
Re: February Pickups
Good call on the E121 comparison Ben - very similar now that I look at it.
If Grover had been riding in a donkey in that other postcard, I donno if there would have been a limit as to how high I would have bid to make sure I got it...

Re: February Pickups
Well, it seems my pickups these days are few and far between, but I was able to land this after some help (mostly reassurance that it was authentic) from Matt Hart (thanks!).
It's a Cravath bat from 1921 - 1924; it's pretty cool to hold something like this that he swung around and smacked homers with.

Picked up my first T204... making it my only tobacco card so far.

Brian, you are really swingin' out. What's behind the paradigm shift in your collecting?

Not really that big of a shift. Both T204s and W600s are still B&W photographic portraits like E107s. The HOFers that I have picked up in those 2 sets are also represented in the E107 set and I don't have their E107s yet. That said, the T204s and W600s can either be place holders or trade bait depending on your point of view.

Really nice cards guys!
I've always wanted this Ruth card finally snagged one I think it looks ok to boot, added another Lenox to the mix as well.
