Nice, Tony!

Brian, not the same barber, but I do have a picture of Joe on my bathroom mirror and blow dry my horns in honor
of him every morning.
Tinker Portrait

I don't collect much after 1920 or so, but that '55 Topps Aaron could make me rethink that...card design doesn't really get much better! Nice one, Ulmann!

Wow! How is that Aaron only a 3? Looks gorgeous to me... what a score! The 55' Topps set is, imo, the nicest of all post-war sets.

Crease on the bottom left, perhaps?
Fantastic eye appeal on that card. Quite the stunner. Congrats!

Re: July Pickup thread
I've had this one coming down the pike for a little while, but got it in hand just yesterday.
Marty O'Toole, as forgotten as he is now, is a compelling baseball story. He was something of a deadball Stephen Strasburg I suppose, if Stephen Strasburg were to flame out, a spectacular failure, and wind up being found alone and dead at the bottom of the stairs by the trash collectors. It's guys like this who really need their baseball cards so we remember them...
