July Pickup thread
July 1st is about an hour and a half away. Just thought I'd start the July thread. I'm working on getting my new additions scanned in and will post them later tomorrow.

Re: July Pickup thread
OK...so June was a very good month for me.
I was able to add 6 new T216's to my set, bringing my total up to 41 (40 different).
Actually since I've been collecting these toughies (now 3 1/2 years), this past June will go down as my best month ever for T216 pickups. I was able to knock off some very tough cards high on my want list (a Matty, McGraw, A MINO HOFer, and a VE HOFer). Plus as an added bonus, every new addition was a HOFer! Conditions are what they are, but I am still thrilled nonetheless. The conditional issues give the lower grade cards character. I'd also like to add that the Matty, Lajoie, and Bender are consecutively Serial Numbered since they were all from the same find. They were all found in Louisiana stored away in a mason jar (Or so I was told)! How cool is that! The Marquard is also from that find, as are all the other MINO's from the SCP auction.
So without further ado......here are my newest additions:
T216 McGraw (small print) Kotton Type 1 PSA 3
T216 Tinker (batting, Chicago) Kotton Type 2 PSA 4
T216 Lajoie (fieldling, Cleveland) Kotton Type 3 PSA AUTH
T216 Christy Matthewson Kotton Type 3 PSA AUTH
T216 Chief Bender (Phila., striped cap) Virginia Extra PSA AUTH
T216 Marquard MINO PSA 1

Wow, Eric! You have been busy. Love the Tinker, plus VE and Mino HOFers, big time stuff! Throw in a Matthewson, Lajoie and McGraw, and you have come down with a real haul. That's awesome! Good stuff!

Quan....by all means go ahead and pick up one. If it's one that I already have, you'll have little competition from me. Man do I love this set!

Thanks Richard. I keep chugging along the best I can. It was a super month for me. I don't expect another one of those for a long time.

Re: July Pickup thread
I think that if you had to get one card of each HOFer the portrait is the way to go. Adam those are very nice for 3's and especially like the Wallace.

Thanks, It's Jerry by the way.
I usually try to pick up sgc 50's or better but these looked nice for 40's , so I saved a little money.

Re: July Pickup thread
Sorry Jerry, trying to keep everyone's name straight, not always successful. High-end 40's are always good pick-ups.
