Could turn out to be a complete steal - if it grades numerically. Still worth a good bit in a sgc AUT even. Nice nice card.

This certainly is something which I do not see every day. It is one of the three Welch cards in the set. Other than this image there is another with the Browns cap, and an action drawing shown in our gallery.

Seems like every time a high quality item shows up on ebay, someone is gonna try to close the auction for a tiny fraction of the value. I wonder if it's the same few guys who are trying this?

It goes without saying that a $1000 offer for this card is just stupid why bother?

Anyone want to guess how this one grades out? I'm gonna say SGC 40.

I think it has too much staining on the front and some back damage to get a 40 - I am going to guess a 30 for the lucky winner, because that is a great price for that card. G & Bs are ridiculously rare...

Just learned that while eBay normally hides bidder names, you can search on completed auctions you've bid on and it will list the winner's id for each lot.

very cool card...my snipe in the 3k didn't even register . looks good to me with the number of customers he has i wouldn't be surprised if it's already sold again pending a number grade from SGC.
