Ebay...

I read on Net 54 that a bunch of guys had their accounts hijacked...anyone have that problem?

I hope it has nothing to do with Gavelsnipe, i use them.

I checked yesterday. My account is still fine. I don't use gavelsnipe though.

No problem here, I do not subscribe to a sniper service.

I use Gavelsnipe as well. Thus far, no problems with my account.

I got the email from ebay and had to change my password. My account was not hijacked but rather I believe that ebay is now tracking IP addresses so it notices something different when you use a snipe service and believes that your account might have been hijacked. It was a hassle and a waste of time getting things changed, but not the end of the world. I am now concerned, though, that every time I use a snipe service I will have the same problem.
