Most over priced T206 card?
Excluding the "big 6", what card so you feel is the most over priced? Mine hands down is the Joe Doyle card. I have not seen a graded copy higher than a 50, so the high grades may really go stupid. But, $300 for a 50, and around $200 for a 40. I think is just assinine. Sure glad at got mine at the price of a normal common.

Hard to argue against that selection. I think the Kleinow catching cards tend to go for inflated prices as well, though not to the extent of the Doyle.

Lee, the Doyle card going for these outrageous levels is b/c Fritsch hoarded these when he was buying them up looking for more National League variations.
I have also noticed the Magee Portraits selling for premiums as well, when they are not really scarce. Also, I believe the Brown Hindus (aside from the SL'ers of course) are overvalued, as they are not really scarce at all.
Regarding the T206 set, I think the best bang for your buck is still a Broadleaf 460. Afterall, it is probably rarer than the T206 Wagner and doesn't cost six figures for a Poor/Altered example!![bananarama](/users/1413/17/23/61/smiles/517562.gif)

Matty dark cap and the red Cobb are WAY overpriced. There are more examples of these 2 T206 cards than any other!

Taylor, though it could be argued that his prices are in line with demand from deaf-player collectors.
Not to steer too far off topic but Taylor's C46 is a very expensive card for a common.

I agree with the Doyle. And as Scott said, the Magee portrait seems to always have a bit of a premium on it. I would assume that's just because of the notoriety of the error version.

Another Wow on the sale:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=380017916545&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=025
That's double what a HOFer would go for.
