This is just ridiculous

meh...he even admitted it was luck...the ball just went into his mitt...next!!!!

dumb luck or not, it's still amazing. Actually, most great plays are dumb luck. Right place, right time, right bounce, etc

I'd put it on par with a back-handed stab by a pitcher at a grounder up the middle. Well played, though questionable skill over luck. The outfielder did put himself in a position to make a play. If the ball bounded over his head, while he stared at the wall, it would have looked worse and gone for more bases.
