Not sure I follow the question... are you asking aside from Oscar Robinson who holds the most basketball records at UC? Big O owns a ton of them there.

Nothing gets by you, Jay !
On the uniform vs. caption question, I decided to follow the caption for my collection. One positive side-effect...saves me from having to chase a bunch of Ruth cards that say "Yankees" on them!!!

trivia UC question
You are so right,it is confusing, aside from the big O,this man holds every scoring record per game and per season at the University of Cincinnati, but,is really well known in another sport.terjung wrote:david slomer wrote:who holds every basketball record at the University of Cincinnati, not the big O, this player was a great star in another sport?

Gratz. Nice pick up. Not sure I could own one unless the red is actually on his lips. It's a registration problem that I have a hard time getting past.

Re: November 2012 Pickup Thread
that went for a very affordable price imo. the card has taken a hit recently but it's still a glamour card in the hobby.
funny about this hobby...4-5 years back the e90-1 joe jax was similar in price with the sporting news rookie. now the jax has gone south while seemingly the ruth has 2x-3x. what happened?

Re: November 2012 Pickup Thread
Thanks guys. And I agree, the card has taken a hit recently. I really thought the time to buy the card would be now, because I really don't see it falling more than it has as of late. I also fear (or I guess, now hope) that after the e-card market rebounds, it will propel the card much higher than it is.
