A little birdie told me that a well known hobbyist will be opening up an auction house soon. More information is likely to come out at the National.

For those who don't know me, my name is Al Crisafulli. I've been a collector for most of my life, and have been a member of the hobby message board community for 8 or 9 years now. I've also done marketing and business consulting within the hobby for quite some time, and was also the editor and co-publisher of Collector Magazine.

I really like this Simple Auction Site company that seems to be making all of this possible for the new houses.

I'm a fan of competition in this industry and I think by them putting the technology out there so that good people in the hobby, who might not know the first thing about auction website technology, has done more good for this hobby than they get credit for.
