Ebay bottom-fishing...put in a super-low snipe and got this for a super-low price...I'm happy:

Thanks! Yeah - a strange coincidence with this E95 Evers...I also snagged an SGC 30 (same grade) of this card off an Ebay auction for even less the next week. The prices I paid are the lowest ones ever recorded on VCP and a good 30-60% less than the usual price of this card in this grade.

So there are some bargains...but I've also lost a lot of bids lately too...

That strategy is what i used to buy/sell back in the days. Low ball a bunch of auctions I knew the market on. The ones you won were almost always profitable. The ones you lost fell under the "Oh well" category.
