July Pickups
Picked this up last night, its the highest graded D350 I've seen anyway. Just hope it can cross to an 84.

Nice Dave....
you should have no problem getting your grade for that.

Re: July Pickups
I'm sure I destroyed some value by busting this out of its PSA 3 holder - I'm thinking it's a 20, maybe a 30 if I end up submitting it to SGC - but the color and clarity are just awesome.

Re: July Pickups
that chase looks like a blazer...i had to look hard is the problem area upper left back running down?

Re: July Pickups
Yeah, that scuffing and the pencil marks next to a few of the numbers. Bender and a couple near the bottom. Still, I love cards like this. Fantastic fronts with grade-killing, but not appeal-killing flaws on back.

I'm the same way, cards like that are the best. That Chase will go nicely with your sweet e93 Matty.
This e94 Lobert of mine is currently in a psa 4, but was apparently in a first generation sgc 86 holder at one time. A speck of paper loss on the back. The front is pretty nice though!

Re: July Pickups
Yeah, the thought of starting another E93 set attempt crossed my mind last night. I blame the thread with the pics of the spread-out T206's. I love the colors of the E93's and think a nice 6x5 array of them would look awesome.
Re: July Pickups
yawie here's how u can start another e93 set slowly...only buy cards that look like your chase/matty, killer presentation with a small defect that lowers the technical grade greatly....that could take awhile to complete.

Re: July Pickups
yeah, congrats Quan.
I know you've been wanting a Jax for a while, and glad you were finally able to land one.
I like the shape of that one. Very presentable for a 1.

Here's one of my pickups. It's my first ghost and I'm happy to finally own one.

Actually it was Jerry that made that statement.
Anyway, I feel ya....my funds have "magically" dried up for the year as well. If I'm making any more purchases, I'll be selling some of the cards I currently have. Its a bummer, cause I like my collection where it is, but if I see something I have to have.....I'll have to make sacrifices, without being able to enjoy the current collection.

that has the same ring to it as, "man, i'm never drinking again," which i've probably said 247 times over the last 12 to 15 years.
seriously, though, congrats!
Re: July Pickups
This was an arm and a leg for my wallet, but couldn't pass up owning one. We will just have to see how long it is before I'm tempted by another pretty girl who walks by...lol
