Thanks guys...i have also never seen one before. And to get one with no writing was a no-brainer for me. Probably off to SGC since it would look much better in the holder with black frame.

Re: September 2010 pick-up thread.
Just added this to my collection. I know, I don't collect OJs but I had some t206s laying around and the person that wanted the t206s offered this in trade. The only problem with the card is a some extra paper stuck to the back from being removed from an album. The image is even sharper than what the scan shows.

Looks like a good t206 book Quan, let us know what you think. Seems kinda odd that it pictures reprints inside instead of authentic cards, don't you think?
I still need to get my hands on the Old Judge book.

Ben
I really liked the 206 book but thought the reprints took alot away from it.-It would have been pretty easy to use original cards. They touch on the reason why they used reprints but I can't remember off the top of my head why. Still a great book
OJ book-killer.

Here's my end of a summer multi-card blockbuster trade with the Q man:
Re: September 2010 pick-up thread.
Jay,
Whoa! Who on earth would offer up that Ryan for a bunch of crappy T206's? That Ryan is outstanding, especially for a 1. He was a good player, too, not a scrub. I think that's an awesome pickup. That card is a real piece of history right there, and a gorgeous pose. Who on earth would give that up?

As the saying goes, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Both parties are happy with deal so it's all good.
Re: September 2010 pick-up thread.
Yeah I'm obviously biased since I collect OJs

Nice! At last, Jimmy finds a team who can truly appreciate his talent! (Dont forget to give an assist to Tony A on the play!)
