It's Legendary!

Post by jbonie on Thu Mar 08, 2012 1:52 am

Anyone get anything from Legendary? I really loved that Radbourn Portrait card... what a cool card. However, someone loved it more than I. There was no stopping him. In the end, I bailed.

How about that price for the Harry Wright N173? Yow, 28.7k... you've got to be kidding me! I thought around 12k, however then I realized Wright is pretty scarce. Yet that is a big price.

All in all, prices seemed pretty strong.

A couple of the Cobb items piqued my interest (lowgrade T215 Red Cross, Vassar Sweater) but alas, they were also out of my range. Nice auction though. A bunch of that stuff was from the Dreier collection, correct?

Even with some serious coin to spend right now I will never buy or consign with Legendary because they are basically MastroNet without Bill Mastro. So you still have all the people around that have been under investigation for shill bidding and other things that the FBI was/is investigating them for. Too many other good auction houses out there to give them my money.
