Hunt auctions Empty Hunt auctions

Post by bowlingshoeguy Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:17 pm

I finally got around to signing up for Hunt Auctions because they had some Cycle packs in their auction. I got signed up and placed a few bids. From there is was a nightmare to figure that site out. I basically gave up, I did call them but it wasn't the greatest conversation, the person seemed to be a "yes" person. I did notice that the auction ended last night, not because of anything Hunt sent out but because of Net54. For a major auction they need some serious work on their website, to me it is not worth the hassle to try and figure it out. I t sure would have been nice to add a Cycle pack to my collection but I will just have to wait until more come up for sale.

Curious if any others are signed up or have past experiences.

i LOVE hunt. one of my favorite auction houses. have consistently won stuff from them going back 7-8 years. the site is not that bad once u get used to it. their cs will reply to u within 24-48 hours...if u request back scans give them about a week. their monthly auctions have picked up steam and there are less deals now. great for buying, but i wouldn't consign.

I've bought from them before. You can occasionally find deals - probably because it's so frustrating for collectors to wade through their totally disorganized catalogs.

I had about a dozen tobacco related items, (packs, boxes, etc) on my watch list, but bidding got outta control on the pieces I liked so I bowed out empty handed.
