T205 Size Question

I know a dealer that has a raw T205 Duffy, that I'm interested in purchasing. The card looks like it would grade SGC 50 ish, the only problem is when I compare it to some of his other T205's he has, it's not quite as wide. Maybe 1/16 narrower. It doesn't look trimmed to me.
My question is it common for T205's to differ slightly in size.

I believe t205's with American Beauty backs are cut a tad shorter than the other t205's. Do you know if it is an AB back?

No Randy, I don't remember what the back was. I'll check to see if it's AB, but I'm pretty sure it's common back. This is the type dealer that doesn't believe in grading cards, so that gives me some solice.

I'm no expert on this set by any means, but I agree with Randy that the AB backs a bit more narrow. I have one that is narrow and I don't believe it is trimmed. I wish I could tell you more about any normal variance in measurements otherwise, but I can't.

My experiences with the T205s is that they are really consitant in size other than the AB's. The quality control seems much better with the T205s over the T206s.

I've seen variance in size up to 1/16th of an inch (or maybe more) on non-AB T205s where the narrower (or shorter) card wasn't IMO trimmed, though a grading company may be more stringent and refuse to holder due to not meeting minimum size requirements (even if they don't deem it trimmed).
