T206 Chance Printer's Scrap
Hey guys,
I was watching this card on eBay to see what it would end at since I really had no idea and it closed at $525.99 after 20 bids. Did any of you see it and if so, what do you think of it? I thought it's an amazing printer's scrap since it's a HOFer, no name printed yet, and two Cycle overprints on the front (one is backwards and the other is lighter).
Anyways, I thought if you missed it, you might like to see it.
Thanks,
AndyH

I was one of the 20 who bid, with on false hope of winning. I may be missing something but how do you get a positive an a negative on the same side . His explanation of drying out the print plate sounds good but you cant print a negative right ... maybe I'm just confused???? anyway it would have been nice to own.. later BOB

That's really cool. I like printer's scrap.
It's like a "monoprint" in the poster collecting world. I've got a bunch of those.

Re: T206 Chance Printer's Scrap
I figured the reverse print was actually a wet sheet transfer. If it was going to be scrap anyway, then I could see the printers just testing stuff on these scrap sheet and then tossing them on top of each other while they are still wet.
