Re: Recent pickups
Very nice, very rare!
Sadly, nothing new for me because I once again sold my entire collection, including childhood cards. Spending all the money on my new passion, board games.

Re: Recent pickups
I recently (well, a couple months ago) picked up these two cards and don't know exactly what they are. I learned a little about them and posted about them on my blog, but still don't know for sure what they are.
Anyone have any of these or have you seen them before? My blog url for this post: https://forloveofthecards.blogspot.com/2019/04/id-help-what-are-these.html

Re: Recent pickups
I am slowly dipping my toes back into prewar...to my surprise alot of the caramels (besides wagner, cobb, matty) are still "relatively" on the cheap side compared to the multiple gains of tobacco and other scarcer issues.
i'm again trying to put together an e93 set and also some lajoies and planks...my last prewar purchase is this t206 signed marquard.

Very nice. Always a fun pick up because Marquard lived so long and signed a lot of t206s.
Re: Recent pickups
i love the stuff ben is collecting.
it's kind of depressing seeing the prices shot up on some stuff in the last 10 years..."astronomical" would be one.

Re: Recent pickups
Yeah, prices have been jumping like crazy just in the past few years. Even though I had sold off my collection about 5 years ago, I did keep all my Tony Oliva stuff. Those items will be with me until I die.
