Thanks, gentlemen! Yeah, it was nice to score a notable name with an uncommon back. Honestly, backs-wise, I'm partial to Polar Bear, despite its lesser value, cuz it was the only dark back with white lettering (vs. the opposite). But I definitely wanna add some of the rarer backs. Adding one on a big name felt good. Dented the wallet , but felt good.

McCarthy appears to be "sliding" on an animal skin and touching, I presume, home plate. McCarthy had to know what he appeared to be doing is highly suggestive.

edited to add: nice pick up! Maybe the base is second or third; whichever, he's a menace to simplicity & innocence

Considering that McCarthy appears to be laying on his belt buckle, I doubt he was that kind of enjoyment out of it.

collecting 19th century cards is great. they're so thick you're getting at least 2x the card of a t206 or caramel.

I wouldn't call the McCarthy the true sexy pose. Doesn't look sexy to me, looks like he just slid into the base and is looking up to see if he is safe. There is a card that is the sexy pose, it is of a common player, someone posted it in n173 form here a while back... can't remember who the player is, though.
