Re: February Pick-ups
Tried to score a Marquard myself tonight and got shut out. However, it was still a successful commons night in T206 country:
I'd been out of the game for awhile. Nice to dive back in. Bids seemed to go low on the in-between SGC scores (i.e., 45 rather than 40 or 50). Anyone wanna weigh in? I'm happy with them, but I've read here before that there are individuals who have issues with the in-between scoring. I'd like to hear the feedback. Was I mistaken to invest in the 45's?

Re: February Pick-ups
can't go wrong with t3s. One of my all-time personal favorites. Would love to chase that set if the BBQ sauce takes off. Got it on the shelves of a few co-ops here in the area and talk with Cub Foods tomorrow (Fri). There are 6 franchise stores in the area and they can put local product on the shelves. If I get in there it's a great stepping stone for getting into just about anywhere.

Ditto on the T3s. I especially like the full body Jake Stahl pose.
If you don't mind me asking, how far along did you get on the T207 set? I love the set but I think it would be brutal putting it together card by card.

Re: February Pick-ups
those t3s are awesome! it's nice when you can spread 'em on the floor like that. just need a few more and you can dive into them scrooge mcduck-style!
lucas--i don't have a problem with half grade...but was kinda sad when sgc started doing them because imo their grading had gotten soft so many sgc40 or 50 in the last couple years were now 35 and 45. that was my only problem with it.

Even if I've been critical of T3's in the past, even I've got to say that those are really gorgeous T3's!!!

I owned a few old flannels and I give major props to those guys wearing them when it was 90 degrees with 80% humidity. All you do is sweat, but they are very warm is spring and fall.

Congrats on an absolute beauty Lee. May they keep coming sooner rather than later.

As well as my Monster collection is doing, this is what it needs: Some signature higher grade purchases with unusual backs. That McQuillan is awesome.
