Hitting changes:

1) Confirm Mantle full time CF batting 3rd. From the injury log he should have been healthy the entire past two weeks, but for some reason only played in 3 games.

2) Go back to Stearns/Willard Brown platoon at DH hitting 5th.

3) Go back to Suttles full time 1B hitting 6th.

Pitching:

Yank Leon Day out of the starting rotation and just make it a 4 man rotation with SJ Williams, Hubbell, RBrown and Dihigo taking their regular turns.

alright we're finally getting something going...too bad we're in the wrong division.

I am not sure how starting Charlie Buffington , instead of Sandy Koufax made the sim give Hack Wilson 3 starts, but PLEASE change back to koufax in the starting lineup instead of Buffington, I do not need Hack Wilson (0-2 , 29.03 era ) ever starting another game for the bums, That absolutely killed me, everything else the same

You know your in trouble when Vern Stephens is leading your team in ERA. Jay I would tell you to make sure he does not pitch anymore but what the heck, the numbers speak for themselves.

Raines has been injured THREE different times this season. Does the SIM factor in benders? Oh well, Goose Goslin is hitting the ball pretty well with very limited starts, I'll swap Raines for Goslin (LF) in the starting lineup. Same batting order.

The Bums have had a negative differential all season and have managed to stay above .500 some how.

Quan, no wild card teams, so you are going to have to try and catch me. I managed to put together a great pitching staff this year. That, more than anything is winning me game. Even with Rivera pitching like a mere mortal. What's up with 4 blown saves already?

good news is the VV and OD have only played 2 games so far...so plenty of chances to make a dent in the deficit.

When we get to the last 2 weeks I am going to do updates every coupld of games to that people can adjust rotations and starting lineups more quickly. You will also be able to shorten up rotations, etc to make that final push to win the division or set up your rotation for the playoffs.

I would like to go to a 4 man rotation with no starts for Hunter. Try to bench Orosco, he's a bum.

the vets got on a roll there by beating the bums 5 straight but actually lost ground to the division leader.

mays has been doing his all-around mays thing but the 2nd-rounder gehrig has been a beast!

move catcher piazza/torre to 2nd hole and move 3b chipper jones to the 6th hole (flip flop order basically)
