2012 standing and stats

This thread will have the link to updated stats. You can also post any roster changes you would like make. I'll wait at least 24 hours before running the next two weeks.

Here is a link the results after the first two weeks. The starting date was April 2, 2012 ran until April 15. Roster errors fixed

Also like to switch SP Gaylord Perry with SP Jose Mendez.

Hi Jay,

Please leave my lineup as it stands, but change pinch hitting for non-pitchers to a 4, and pinch hitting for platoon players to a 3.

I'd like to change Monarch Grays pitching to the settings below, thanks!

Starters: Put in Lefty Gomez as my 3rd starter, replacing Leon Day. Other 4 starters remain the same.

You guys are tough. Get off to a slow start and straight to bench. Poor Joe Rogan on my team has a 0.73 ERA in 2 starts, threw 12 innings of shutout ball and has no decisions in any game so far. Now that's some serious lack of run support.

Please put Valenzuela as my closer, replacing Wetteland. Everything else is A-OK. Thanks

Please leave my lineup as is. I believe Ted Williams is due to come back any day now from injury. Please make sure he's back in the starting lineup as he hit over .700 when he played! Thanks.

am i doing this right? how come for the 16th-30th i decreased cone to 15% starting and he pitched 3 games while my ace kid nichols was at 30% but only started 1?

For some reason, Rose, my left fielder, has been getting full time starts at 3B. Boggs should be there.

Anyways, I'd like to replace Pete Rose in LF with Yaz, and slide Canseco into the DH spot.

Also, not sure why Caruthers is getting at bats, please nail him to the bench!!

One of the flaws in the sim is that while I can set up a rotation that has percentages for each starter I have to do it with a 2 man rotation and the rest can be percentages. What was happening the first two week segment was that staffs that were set like that ended up having 2 pitchers pitch all 13 or 14 games. I had to set everyone on at least a 4 man skip rotation in order to keep pitchers from getting overworked early on and make sure the #1 starter was getting the majority of the starts.

When you make a post, please put your team name in there. I don't have everyone's team name memorized yet.

Rose ended up at 3B because you didn't list positions so I put players at positions they normally played. I had put Yaz in LF, Rose 3B and Boggs at 1B because Rose wasn't rated for 1B.

I now have Yaz in LF and Boggs at 3B. Who do you want at 1B and DH? That should fix any roster problems. As for Caruthers, you'd have to look at the box scores for the second two weeks and see what happened. He got one AB so I'm guessing he was used as pinch hitter and I really can't control that in any way.

Ooops. I thought what I had on the rosters page would suffice. Here's what I want my order to look like:

1- Ty Cobb (CF)
2- Nap Lajoie (2B)
3- Wade Boggs (3B)
4- Jose Canseco (DH)
5- Carl Yastrzemski (LF)
6- Johnny Bench (Kelly - 10%) (C)
7- Duke Snider (RF)
8- Buck Leonard (1B)
9- Luke Appling (SS)

Jay, Whizzers to make the following changes-
1)Jeff Reardon benched and Elroy Face to take over set-up duties
2) George Brett to play 100% and Vern Stephens to bench

the sim seems to like streaks. lots of teams winning 4-5 in a row or lose 4-5 in a row alot.

my best guy #1 nichols (30%) has only started 5 while my worst has 8 (15%)....the other 2 have 9 and the other has 5. if nothing can be done i'd rather they each get 20% and their regular turns then.

The league stats seem to come up all alright but my team stats only run through 4/14.
