Addie Joss T-205??

have a big show coming in November and it is basically all vintage a ton or pre-war stuff as well. I want to save some money to get an Addie Joss graded like a 1 or 2 for my set. My question to you guys is what would one roughly go for at a show so that i can first of all save the money for it and secondly I dont over pay for it

should only be $250-$400 for a nice 1-2...but be prepared to pay $600 if you're at a show

brian had an ok sgc40 his last auction and it went for $550.

Sometimes it's better to buy VG because alot of people are looking to buy lower grade because that is all they can afford and it tends to drive up the price above where it should be.

The Joss is a very popular card. Always remember when your at a show you can also expect to have to pay more but you get to see the card in person before buying and that is always worth a little more to me.

At a show several years ago I picked up this card for $200, thinking it was a good price for the condition. Minutes after buying the card, a dealer at the next table had the same card for $150 more in g/vg shape, which was certainly in my price range. The moral of the story is to be patient and one will come along that fits best in your collection, if not at the next show then on ebay or another auction. (note that I do find enjoyment in the ownership of this card despite its obvious flaws)

I picked this Joss up a few years when the prices were a little higher...kinda tough to find at times! I probably overpaid at $365 I believe...sgc 30....but it's one of my favorite cards!
