The Jimmy Claxton Experience
Bought this ticket off ebay from a guy selling old Reno train tickets. It was not advertised as such, but I know the pitcher for Scott Motors of Reno August 4, 1935 was Jimmy Claxton. No year on the ticket but Scott Motors was not founded until 1929, and probably did not sponsor a team during WW2, the only three dates a Sunday August 4 ticket fall on were 1929, 1935, & 1941. I could not believe it, still don't for only $25. What do you think, real or fake?

Re: The Jimmy Claxton Experience
After further research Round Mountain beat Scott Motors 4-2 August 4, 1935, however Claxton (Scott Motors pitcher 1933 - 35) had gone to play for Verdi Baseball Club in late July 1935. Too bad, I thought I might have found a cheap, nice piece of history.
