Newsboy cabinets...out of the closet
Hopefully nobody here that may have been looking at these is TOO upset....it was a heck of a dogfight AFTER the seller ended the auction

Re: Newsboy cabinets...out of the closet
Nice pieces. I wish I could find the 2 Newsboy actress I bought about 5 years ago. I want to make a couple of fantasy pieces with them. I am all set to produce them, I just need to find the cabinets
This is one of the drawbacks to being a packrat and living in a very small place. They will eventually turn up, just the like the Negro League pieces I stumbled across a few weeks ago. I knew I had them, I just couldn't remember where they were.

Awesome pickups, Dave. Especially like that Van Haltren. Many think his accomplishments as a pitcher should qualify him for the Hall of Fame (wasn't he on the ballot a few times even?). Who knows, maybe some day. You dun good!

Great pickups Dave - glad to see those two go to a board member!

Thanks guys. I'll post better scans once they get here (tomorrow if I can convince the wife to stay home and sign for them)
I'm pretty curious as to what shape the backs are in....maybe the difference in 10's and 40's (50's on a good day?)

Quan...
Definately was a bit of a gamble. I got that the backs are "nice". Well...how do you take that coming from a guy that doesn't know cards? I took it as we will just wait and see because a non card guy saying "nice" means nothing...

Mark-
The Ramly last year helped me get "most" the way through the e98 set. I need a couple nice transactions this year to get me ALL the way through it
