1935 Goudy 4on1 cards
Hi All -
I have several original 1935 4 on 1 cards. The problem is that the cards have been taken apart. Question: Were they made to be taken apart? Any if so I assume that this depletes the value.
Any feedback greatly appriciated.
Thanks

To answer one of your questions...The value is vastly depleted by having them separated.
I am not truly an expert on the set but I believe their intention was not to be separated but to be put together to complete the puzzle picture on the back.
But then again, who would have known that 70+ years later adults would pay Hundreds of dollars for the same cards that are sealed in plastic. Most kids would do what they wanted with them!!!!

That is what figured. I have all the pieces, but the individaul players are separated into 4 pieces. I assumethe kids did it to put their teams together.
