Nice Stuff
Are you interested in selling it? If so, let me know because I am interested in a few cards.

Nice cards
Is it my imagination or are all the T210-3's Orange borders or is it just the scans fooling me.

Re: Scans of Jan's Inheritance
REA does lots where he will keep a group like this in tact and sell it. Rob's minimum is $1k for a lot and with Wags and Cobb, that would be easily met. With the current market, eBay is not a good option as I have heard from many people that t206s are getting killed and Old Mill market is not what it was a few years ago. Jan would have a tough time selling them on eBay because there would no history of previous sales, thus killing prices and consigning them to someone to sell on eBay means they would be out the ebay vig plus whatever the seller was charging.
REA is still the best option if Rob is willing to take them

Update
Thanks to Ben for posting the scans! Rob was able to come to this site to see the cards and said he would be happy to put them in the next auction.I will be mailing them tomorrow via registered mail. BTW, he said registered mail never gets lost.
I have a new computer and could not figure out why my scan would not work. I really thought it was me and asked my daughter to try it. Nope, no luck. Then my son in law, who is on the computer all day, tried to reprogram. Nope, again. He took the cards home, scaned them and sent back to me in an email. I was able to forward the email to Ben but, could not get my computer to forward to Rob. Ben really "saved the day" for me and I am very appreciative for his help.
You all are a great bunch to talk with and I'm so glad you have this wonderful web site. Jan

Jan's cards
I typed in "old baseball cards" on the Yahoo search engine. Many, many listed. After looking at 2 or 3, bam! there you were. Jan

Hi Jan,
Are there any other backs other than Piedmont or Sweet Caporal?
For the T210 collectors, Is that the complete Dallas team she has?

Re: Scans of Jan's Inheritance
Mark, it's all about the metatag. I seem to have gotten a bit lucky and wrote a really good one for the site since I haven't had to touch it since the first day. We are always right in the top 5 or 10 in just about any search involving the cards we love. The sites that usually outrank us are dealer sites or Old Cardboard.

Re: Scans of Jan's Inheritance
i like rob, and i love giving rea business since i feel they're one of the few standup auction houses out there....but honestly i feel this lot might have done better in a smaller venue. rob puts out 1 auction a year, over a thousand lots plus with some incredible rare pieces...and these cards might get lost in the shuffle.
i would've probably graded the t206 cobb/evers, e95 wagner and e96 brown and listed them myself...but understand how the process could be overwhelming to someone new.

Re: Scans of Jan's Inheritance
Were we able to get a final decision on what Jan has decided to do with the cards? If she sent them to REA any news on them yet?
