Do you pass by an auction when...

...read the phrase "I bought this at an estate sale"? I am finding more and more that no matter how good the card may look, I will immediately move on when I see those words.

Are there any other phrases like that that will make you run away from an auction?

How bout "selling my deceased grandfathers cards". 9 times out of 10, all these auctions are bogus.......

Fer real. If I were a scammer, I would completely avoid all those red-flag phrases.

And let's not forget the exes who sell their philandering spouses' cards - listings that are incomplete without the obligatory lingerie pic of the jilted lover.

More Pet Peeves for me is No desription on graded cards, Blurry Scans, and No Back scan.
Also, No paypal, is a turn off to me..

Sellers using Paypal may be getting tougher and to find as myself, my brother and many others are tired of the crap they keep pulling with sellers. They refund money without question to buyers and in my case, they double dipped my account on a $750 purchase taking money from both my paypal balance and my bank account. That was the last straw and I no longer accept or pay with paypal.

Paypal is even more crooked than eBay is.
