Re: Harris Collection?
I don't know a whole lot about the collection but what I do know is bothersome. Aside from the Gretzky/McNall Wagner, this was PSA's signature start up grading. I've gotten an answer as to how many Harris cards were rejected as trimmed, but it was few if none at all. I don't care how good of an eye you have, you are going to miss something. I also understand that many of his t206s came from the Copeland collection, which is notorious for having a large number of trimmed cards. Many advanced collectors won't touch a Harris card because of the questions surrounding them. The ones that do buy them are usually the registry people that are buying the slab and not the card.
I'd much rather own a Collector X card than a Harris card.

Bob check out this article on the collection if you haven't already.
My opinion is that many of the cards were expertly trimmed/doctored. Here's the Harris Plank. If you can get past the fact that it's noticably short top to bottom (and should probably be in an "authentic" holder), it has the best color/register of any T206 Plank that I've seen.

short, a sloping top border and nice stain in the middle of the back. It's just screaming for an 8
