damn it! The Vets select Derek Jeter to play shortstop (i'm probably cheating as the game sim only goes up to '06 when jeter haven't declined!)

i gotta say i really like the alleghenys lineup so far...foxx, carew, ted williams, rickey leading off. the cardinals all-time lineup is also interesting.

Quan, the sim takes the player's best 10 year stretch to determine the stats, so unless it someone like Koufax, no one really gets hurt by a decline or slow start.
