After giving our initial choice the deep thoughtful consideration it deserves, the Riddler's Board of Govenors has selected G.H. Ruth who may be able to be relied upon to bolster our pitching needs, should the need arise, like bit did last time around.
And if he can not be called upon to do that, we will just have to suffer through his bouts of continuously hitting the ball where no one can catch it. Quite unsportsmanlike.

The Rid, again off to a slow start on pitchers, and seeing two key keystoners fall in the second and fourth draft positions of Round 1, has got to select these middlemen now.
Lajoie, who played such a sparkling 2B for us last season, will be returning again this year; and a newcomer, a modern guy, A. Rodriguez will be our SS and maybe fill in at 3B should the need arise. This was a problem position for us last year, when our primary choice was found to be ineligible.
