With the first selection of the 2011 ATG the Seattle Pilots select SP Walter Johnson

The Brooklyn Bums are happy to announce with the 2nd pick Ty Cobb (OF). Ty was one of the most dynamic players to ever play the game , and a competitor that should take me to the promised land.

The Saint Louis Sleepers 1st selection goes to Cy Young (SP). Cy is the Majors' most winning pitcher, and a dominant force on the mound, so St Louis is proud to have him anchor their rotation!

The Pittsburgh Alleghenys will select George Herman Ruth (OF)

The Stallions select Lou Gehrig (1B).

With their first pick of the 2011 ATG draft the Oppie Dildocks are proud to announce the selection of The Flying Dutchman, Honus Wager, to anchor the team.

The Elite Whales will add OF-Barry Bonds

With their first pick, the Dominican Canucks select 2B Rogers Hornsby.

Last year I had five 300 game winners in my starting rotation, yet finished second-to-last. I went back and looked over the season stats and saw the lowest ERA was 3.22 and there were only two 20 game winners. I'm going to try a strong dose of offense this year in hopes of happier times.

Hey Steve! Pujols is not eligible for the draft. This excerpt is from the rules thread: "Participants may pick players from any era of baseball history MLB or Negro Leagues. They must have been a rookie prior to 1996 to be eligible and have played at least 10 years."

yup, Albert gets picked every year but until there is an update to the ATG data there will be no players after 1996.

Well it is a good thing Jim, because he would have worn you out. I will instead pick Josh Gibson (C), probably the greatest slugger of all time
