Upcoming Auctions

I'm itching to buy some cards...but there's nothing on my want/needs list out there...does anyone know what and when some big house auctions are coming in the near future?

Only one I care about is REA. This may be a one card purchase this year, but well worth it.

Huggins & Scott, Legacy, Collect.com and Bagger's inaugural auction are all coming up in January. I believe REA closes in the first week of May.

huggins' material have declined for the stuff i'm interested in the last couple auctions. why do they need to do 4-5 auctions a year when the stuff don't support it?

thanks guys...I agree Huggins and scott hasn't offered much for me lately either...mostly very common cards. i don't know if i can wait til May!

Yeah, I'd have to agree with the H&S statement.

Yup. Not sure what happened to Huggins & Scott, but their last few auctions have been very pedestrian.

Maybe a case of greed, where they wanted more money at the sacrifice of top notch items. I remember a time (maybe 2 years ago), when they had so many good items up for sale in their auctions. That was my #1 place for acquisitions during that time (1 spring and 1 fall auction). With their new format of an auction just about every 2 to 3 months, I've bought 1 card from them over that span.

Just found out Goodwin is having a February auction. Im consigning a card, and spoke to Bill today!
