June pickups...part deux

I thought the e94 was my favorite pose...but now I'm not so sure!!

I believe he is raising his hand to ask the ump to go to the bathroom. I could be wrong but I see no other reason for the pose.

I love that E96 Gibson, never seen it before. Is that pose on any other Gibson?

I am trying to go the whole month of June with out buying a card. I think that would be a first since I got on ebay in Oct. 2000.

Nothin' beats a nice raw card. I thought the clarity and sharp registration on this Red Cobby portrait was as good as I had seen.

Nice Cards Tony, T206 Portraits are nice. Couldn't you find better players though.

that cobb is radioactive! it's so nice...young looks really nice too if no problem on the back that's an easy VG card. those cards look like it's been stored away for many years and haven't been handled much (passing through dealers' hands)...my favorite kind of cards.

Thanks Jerry, thanks Quan. Backs on both are clean. Quan, you are so right. You can tell when a raw card's been stored away
untouched compared to one that's been handled before by the color and richness of the print. The seller I purchased these through stated these were just discovered and were part of a recent larger find.

I would like to finish the June pickup thread by saying that I think June 2008 was the first month since September 2000 that I did not buy a card in a month's time frame.

Not sure how I did it but get a little chance to play catchup. Maybe I actually narrowed my focus and stuck to it for a change. Anyhow and did it and was kind of proud of myself.
