REA Consignments Empty REA Consignments

Post by bowlingshoeguy Sat May 03, 2008 3:18 pm

Just curious who among us has submissions in REA and how are they doing.

I have 2 lots, 27 & 205. At this point and time they are $100 short of my estimate, hoping for a push of another $300 - $400.

I have 2 lots, 306 the e95 Cobb and 307 the e101 Wagner. They aren't doing as well as expected, but hopefully there will be a lot of activity at the end.

REA (Robert Edwards Auctions) run by Rob Lifson, is one of the major auction houses in the hobby. You'll be hard pressed to find a better person in the hobby than Rob.

Hey John,

Wanna see some really cool cards? Then hit the REA website and bump around the auction that ended last night.

www.robertedwardauctions.com

From the front page click on Launch Acution or Go To Auction or whatever.

It is soooo cool to look at what people got and how much the cards went for. The Ruth on the first page shot up from $220K to $440K in the last few hours of the auction.

The total of my 2 lots were exactly as expected. I was conservative with my guess and it proved right. You always hope you can get more but can't complain.

Thanks to Rob for another great auction,

Some of my lots went for much more than I expected, others went for much less. Overall, it was about what I had expected...I'm definitely happy. Thanks Rob and REA.
