Today's Small Card Show pickups 5 Flippers 1 Keeper

In Conjunction with an Astros Tigers exhibition game there was a small card show at Minute Maid Park today. Hoping some of my Local Yokel Dealers would be there I drug my self out of bed and drove 70 miles one way to the Park. I have made some really good type card buys in the past from these guys. There not vintage card savy, they sell mostly shiny stuff, but being from the boondocks they do pick up some vintage stuff from time to time. Anyway picked up these flippers and one keeper. Hopfully I can make enough on the flippers to pay for the keeper. I miss small weekend shows, you never knew what you would find.

It has some back damage but ain't the front nice. Hope it's not trimmed. I shouldn't have much in it when it's all said and done.

I just noticed the Back is reversed on the Holsum Smith compared to the other 2. Whats up with that, would there be a premium for that.

I remember you scoring a group of Holsums before, Jerry. Were these from the same source? If not, that's quite the coincidence

That's a really nice haul for a small show. I'm not going to be much help on valuation, but I'm sure you'll do well on the ones you decide to sell. I would keep the Mcgraw as well, it's a beaut. Congrats!

Yes, it's was the same dealer, I also got those 10 Successfull Farmings from him also. I've made alot of nice pick ups from him. He's from Louisianna.
