card show tomorrow.

i miss shows here in southern california. we used to have an excellent tri-star show 2-3x a year but that stopped several years ago. the nat'l is allergic to anything west of chicago it seems. i'll be taking my 2 yr old to his 2nd show tomorrow right across from disneyland. right now he's more excited about the balls than cards, but hopefully he'll grow up to admire great ballplayers like clayton kershaw and mike trout.

if anybody needs a blue super refractor autograph rookie card lmk, i'm your man! not expecting much vintage but macrae, ryan christoff, and anthony lts board will be there.

had a great time! actually one of the better socal shows in awhile lots of vintage for a cali show. spent about only hour wish could've stayed more but my son was over it.

met anthony there w/o elliot, he couldn't make it down from canada (thought he would).

Would have been there, but it was warmer in the Caribbean.

took my son and stood in line for autograph for the first time since jagr in '94. was awesome meeting magic, took a pic my son got to high five him. well worth the extra $40 instead of mailing it in for a private signing with somebody else. he couldn't be more gracious!

Now you've just got to get Larry Bird and Dr. J!!!!

J--planning on it, i know bird does a few shows a year but dr J will probably be last and have to be an in-person somewhere as he doesn't do alot of shows.

Agreed...I've always liked this card...and thought it'd be awesome to get all 3 to sign it...despite it being a basketball card!!!!1

Love that basketball card. The only one I own. Dr. J might be easier than Larry Bird's now that his son is neck-deep in trouble with the law, he might be busy.

got "dr. j" back from consignment. he didn't sign his full name, but it doesn't look too bad. we can always fix that later if i want his full name. i was pissed initially but i got over it.

It's not like there is a lot of room to sign.
