Yankees suck :-p
They can't even hold on to a lead against the lowly Twins. Doesn't bode well for the Yankees this year.

I'm an Orioles fan, so I freely admit that I did a little happy dance over that one tonight.

The Yankees usually wait until the playoffs to sweep the Twins :-P

Re: Yankees suck :-p
Us Twins need to celebrate any chance at beating the Yanks (they do suck :-D ). This will probably be the only win we have against them this year. I am hoping for a shock and we can get another win or 2 in NY.

It's beginning to look like this year's suckee in the A.L. East will be the Red Sox!

What a complete failure by the Red Sox. They have the looks of last years Twins, could they be pushing the 100 loss season?

Red Sox have been undeniably miserable!
Just watched White Sox pitcher Humber throw the 21st perfect game in history versus the M's. Is there anything better than seeing a perfect game, but worse than watching your favorite team flail at the ball for 9 innings like that? Pathetic.
Between the Sox and Mariners I am reminded of Tampa Bay Bucs coach John McKay's answer to "How about the execution of your offense?". His response, "I'm all for it!"
As a diehard M's fan, I am unable to say anything positive about the Yankees, or A-rods 631st homerun (surpassing the far better hitter Ken Griffey Jr.). In reflection, it is not allergies but his "accomplishment" makes my soul itch.

I just dumped Yahoo! Sports as one of my news feeds. You would think that with a perfect game being thrown yesterday that would be the lead story. You know what was? The Yankees beating the Red Sox. Sorry, but you lose all credibility when a perfect game isn't your lead story and has to follow an early season game that means nothing right now.
Re: Yankees suck :-p
I was thinking the same thing, however I must admit that for whatever reason, I really didn't care that that guy threw a perfect game. Maybe it was because I had never heard of the pitcher. I don't know, but I've never been less enthralled by a perfect game.
It some ways, the Red Sox epic collapse was a better story, sort of epidemic of their collapse last season, the hiring of Bobby Valentine, which I always thought was a crazy decision, and so forth. Yet it is still early, I wouldn't count out the Sox.

If you look at the list of pitchers that have thrown perfectos, it not overwhelming. Some great names there, but a lot more huh?
