T206s: Comparable Fronts to Backs
I am interested in the thoughts of the fronts of T206 compared to the backs. The top 10 players would be nice.
Examples:
Doyle NY Natl : Ty Cobb back
Wagner: Broadleaf 460
Plank: UZIT/Drum
O'Hara:Lenox
Demmitt:Lenox
Magie: Lenox
Elberfeld, Wash:
Lundgren, Chicago:
Smith Chic & Boston:
SLers:
Dahlen, Brooklyn:
I am not sure on my guesses but a quick synopsis.

I guess my cards would stay in the series they were printed in like the Wagner ideal card would be a brown Hindu Wagner or brown Hindu Plank as they are 150 cards.
The Doyle is a 350 460 and would be real cool with Lenox

I think he is asking whether the Doyle NY Natl is of a comparable scarcity to the Ty Cobb back (and a Wagner of comparable scarcity to a Broadleaf 460, etc).
Interesting thought. I haven't the slightest bit of expertise to comment except to think that the Doyle / Ty Cobb back are probably of similar scarcity - relative to the rest of the set. That is to say that both are stupid tough.

Oh my mistake-I didn't read it that way but you would be correct Brian comparing rarity as there are 8 known Doyles and about 14 known Cobb/Cobb and about 75 or so Wags and 50 or so Broad Leaf 460s.
no english major here just a baseball card collector.

Jay is right on the jest of my question. I thought it would be interesting with the high emphasis on the backs how they would compare in the scarcity of the fronts.

I wouldn't include the Cobb back since it is pretty much agreed now that the card is a stand alone issue but still gets lumped in with t206s.
