That's Cajun Spice! T213 style!
I've been working on a few little T213 projects...and just this week I was able to add 2 tough cards I've been looking for for over a year now. So we all know that T213-2's...the most common of all coupon cards are multiples scarcer than it's counter T206 card...but the Type I's and III's are infinitely harder to find...especially if you're looking for a specific player...and not just any type. See how long it takes to find all three coupons types with a common front!

Many collectors are intrigued by the T213-II Donlin card...as one variation, instead of a team designation...states ".300 batter 7 years." No other card in the set has such a boast! I used to think this was the tougher of the Donlin cards...but now I believe the ny nat'l designated card is actually much tougher!
Does anyone else have any coupon "runs" or other interesting T213 Comments or cards to show!

Those are some oddball cities players are listed as playing in, and it looks like the Elberfield doesn't even have a city name. Thanks for the head's up on those.

Herzog doesn't have a Type 1 but does have a variation in the Type 2. In the last week or so I was able to add one, trade for one, and upgrade one.

I also picked up this Sweeney Type 2 in the recent cards offered and the caption states, incorrectly I believe, Boston Amer.

Great cards guys. I also really dig the Herzog pose, as well as the Donlin .300 batter for 7 years card.
To me, T213's are some of the best buys out there right now in terms of scarcity to price ratio.
I currently have two T213-2's in my collection; here's my favorite:

Guys, which would you say is tougher between Type 1's and 3's?
Remember when the type 3's with the overprint bar at the bottom of the reverse were selling for big bucks? That seems to have died down. I never really understood why people would pay significantly more for that.

I really wish I knew more about this issue. I just found a Dunn Baltimore card that I didn't know existed in the Type 3 issue. I wasn't aware that there was actually a card with Baltimore printed on it in the type 3. What a rush after 42 years of collecting!
Great cards guys and yes, the color is amazing on the Herzog pictured!! I also love the variation.

ben...I hardly ever see the type III's with the bar for sale it seems. I think they are pretty tough. Tough to gauge which are tougher...I think I's and III's are pretty equivalent in the toughness scale.
Can I have used the word "tough" any more in that sentence?

the 1s and the 3s are probably pretty equal in toughness. the 1 gets more respect/attention only because it looks exactly like a 206. If it weren't for this feature they would get no respect just like the 3s. Actually I have seen less 3s than 1s in my collecting experience.
I picked up the Bridwell at a very reasonable price for a card that tough-great for collectors and bad for sellers.
