Re: Joe Jackson Cracker Jack card
Hello all, sorry to resurrect this zombie of a thread but I am in a similar situation to those above. I collected baseball cards as a child and I recently stumbled onto some neat cracker jack cards a friend owned. He was unaware of their potential value but some quick googling showed that if authentic this Shoeless Joe could be valuable.
I took a picture of most ofthe whole of the card (sorry for the flash glare) and a close up on the jersey just below the V. I have my suspicions but I would love some second opinions.
Thanks

The flash glare is great because it's proof positive that the card is a reprint. Original CJs are printed on very thin stock that has no gloss. So there would be no flash glare if it was original. Also, the font on the back is wrong and the edges of the "picture" should be clean and crisp. Not fuzzy.
