Another Dockman off my list - now down to 6 needed...and that will be 5 soon (I'm making a deal for one of the remaining HOF cards I need):

Well I have been chasing this one for years. Hard to believe it was at the top of my want list so long. I remember spending an entire day at the 2008 National devoted just to finding this card. Last year in Baltimore I came close to over-paying for an off-condition once, but I ultimately passed. Managed to snag this one in a private transaction. Quest over!

Very nice. Best I can do is say I have two Newsboy actress cards.

Thanks Jay. I like many of the other Newsboy cabinets too... the actresses, Statue of Liberty, Thomas Edison, etc. It's just a great group of cabinet photos.

I went to the White Plains show yesterday and had a lot of fun, submitted 7 cards to SGC and picked up these three !!!

Well, I'm offically forever tied to the George D find now that Fed Ex just dropped this off ! Very exciting day indeed !!!!!!!

Nice! Wish my scanner did that well with slabbed cards. Got my cards the day after Pete. I have the Jennings left after selling the rest to another collector that is working on the set.



Lee has looked at the Jennings card and neither of us can figure out why this card got a 10. Other than 2 creases and the round corners, there isn't a significant problem with card. No paperloss, etc.

Thanks Jerry- No Rusie, yet. Only Fuller, Griffin, & Tiernan so far. I'm saving my pennies though.

Picked this pair up tonight off the bay, I just wish they weren't in those PSA floating condom slabs.

Always liked this card (and fascinated by Turkey Mike)...thanks to Lee - another perfect deal!

Spending some REA money. Another t205 Sovereign for the collection.

Wow. The green text on the back is very attractive. I didn't realize they were printed like that.

That's part of why I like it. It also helped that I a group t205s I traded for were mostly Sovereign backs and gave me the idea to do this.

Lovin' this one! Now I just need to pay Legendary so they'll send it my way!

An olive E94 Cicotte to go with my purple Carter example (funny, this card previously lived in a PSA 2 holder, at which time it sold for $500...couple years later after it crossed to an SGC 10 I was able to buy it for $200..."buy the card"...sure...):
