Crazy T206 Tough back prices

It is just amazing right now the prices paid for some of these T206 tough back. I recently tried to get a T206 Cycle 460 that was not confirmed, the card went for 3 times what a normal Cycle 460 of similar grade would command. I was really disappointed that my what I thought was stupid high bid wasn't even close but the unconfirmed list of Cycle 460's is now down to 3.

It seems as the multipliers have jumped from the Cycle/AB backs on up and some at really stupid jumps. Kind of frustrating as an older collector, but I recently got together with a fellow "older" collector and worked or a big trade that helped both of us in our major focus's.

c'mon Lee...show us more details and evidence! i guess it's a good thing you're almost there on your cycle 460 set...or you may have to sell your e94 Wags to fund completion...and just imagine how coveted your set will someday be!!!!

The cycle 460 grade 3 for 360 was way high for that card but these backs just keep reaching new levels. You can put a tag on a tough back but friendship is priceless. Glad to add to your cycle quest.

nice, i'm a bigger fan of jim rivera everyday with all the things he does for this hobby...what a guy!

i am very fortunate to have hobby friends like yourself and the rest of the guys on this forum.

also lee made sure i came out on the good end of our trade-added significant cards to my hindu collection-hofers,commons and a horizontal- great to have lee as a friend. don't like giving my cards up but if they go lee is the right place.

Thanks Jim, The feeling mutual. I is good to get cards into there proper home and be more appreciated. This hobby is so much more fun when we work together instead of just worrying about the dollar value.

I feel that my tough backs are so depleted now but I tend to forget that I have 80 different Cycle 460s.

Now Jim, if you wouldn't be so madly in love with that Buck Herzog.

Well the Herzog is dear to me so lets hope another turns up but I can make it 81 cycle 460s for now because the Wilhelm is now in my possession and I will be sending it your way .

I think this Wilhelm is the only known Cycle 460-it was on the unconfirmed list until the latest auction but you know 206s -if there is one there usually is another. Lets hope so for my Herzogs sake.

I know it is tough to put friendship first sometimes because these cards we collect have become quite valuable but like I said earlier you can't put a tag on friendship.
