What's your dream card
Just looking at the "what are you hunting for these days" thread, and wondered what individual card you consider to be your "Dream Card", regardless of the condition. I know alot of T206 collectors would probably say Mr. Wagner, but Im wondering about those of you who collect specific players, rare sets, Type cards, Etc. It may not be all that original of an answer, but mine is the T210-8 Shoeless Joe card. Im basing my answer on its rarity (10 or less currently known), the coolness of the image of a young Joe Jax, and the fact that chances are almost 0% that I will ever be able to get my grubby little hands on one! Lets hear/see some others!

Well, i actually bought my "Dream" card 2 days ago but won't post anything until i get it in my hands. My luck is it gets lost in mail.

I also own my dream card, the m101-5 Thorpe. Next on my list would be the Peck & Snyder Jim Creighton.
Re: What's your dream card
at the risk of sounding like a broken record... my dream card is an E107 Wagner.
I don't own one yet, but it is the card that got me into the hobby (or perhaps I should say back into the hobby).

I would have to go with the Just So Young if I were offered any one card.

"Dream" cards
Wow guys! Impressive want list. Alot of cards I wouldnt have suspected. Its good to know that there is as many answers to that question as there are card sets to choose from! Well, when I win the lotto (notice I didnt say "if", you have to think positive!) maybe the baseball card fairy will visit all of you nice fellas! Yes, I would share my good fortune with my vintage card friends if I won the lotto! We have Powerball and Mega Millions in MO now, so Im keeping my fingers crossed! Its probably as likely that I will win as I am to be able to own the Shoeless Joe card! I will keep y'all posted!!

I love the background of that Boston Garter Matty...looks like the batsman just wacked the pitcher in the head with his bat.

OK, I'll play.
T216 Cobb (standing) or Wagner (throwing or batting) with a MINO back. Or if it exists.....either Cobb (standing/batting) with a Virginia Extra back. I'd pay just to see a VE Cobb!

Eric - I would love to have a Mino Cobb as well, but only know of 2 and I don't think I will ever get a shot at either. I have never seen a VE Cobb or Wagner, although I have heard rumors that a Wagner exists. I have seen 3 Mino Wagner throwings and only 1 Mino Wagner batting.
You can count the populations of all of these cards on one hand!
My grails would be the Washington Times Cobb, Boston Garter Cobb, E107 Wagner and Just So Young. Excuse me, I just drooled on myself

Re: What's your dream card
I changed my mind, I could die happy with this huge 1903 World Series Chickering Imperial Cabinet of Pittsburg & Boston.
Photo was taken before the final game 8 at Hunting Ave. Grounds stadium in Boston, where Bill Dineen would pitch a 4 hit Shut out propelling Boston to the championship with a 5 game to 3 advantage.
Wagner is standing on far right. Nuf Ced Mc'Greevy is standing in the stands front row.. Other notables in cabinet, Jimmie Collins, Cy Young, Fred Clarke, Tommy Leach, etc
Sorry about the picture, I took it thru glass case at the Boston Library. It was stunning, I couldn't stop looking at it.
