Anyone up for a 2010 National Man vs. Food challenge?
One of the things I'm most looking forward to at this year's National in Baltimore is the food challenge at Steak and Main that I saw on Man vs. Food.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, the challenge involves eating 76 ounches of different cuts of steak, along with 1 lb of sides in an hour. If you complete the challenge, the restaurant gives you $100. If you fail, you pay $140 for the meal.
Anyone want to go with me? Great steak and the chance at extra cash for the floor!

It's only a 26-ounce Delmonico steak, an 8-ounce filet mignon, a 12-ounce New York strip, a 12-ounce veal chop, and 16-ounces of flat iron steak, as well as a baked potato and a side of vegetables.bowlingshoeguy wrote:If I go which is a good possiblility I am willing to go but can't help you in the eating challenge.

4.5 pounds of steak and another pound of sides?
Talk about spending $140 on a meal and then not enjoying it.
No thanks. I'd rather spend $20 on that filet and enjoy it.

Proverbs 23:20-21 warns us, “Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.”
