Re: Vintage Card Match Game 4.0 - Round 2
I really wanted to keep posting E107s, but since it was hinted in another thread that Moore needs to be a jumping off point, I will post this instead...

Not too shabby, Brian. Here's one you don't see everyday, a real toughie. I've been told of one collector who has a complete set minus the Moore and this is the only example of this pc I've seen.

Awesome Cleveland PC, Zach! I've only seen the Joss from that issue.
I'm guessing that this thread is probably your favorite spot on the internet right now with all of these Earl Moore cards!

Thanks Brian, it's a favorite of mine with a good story. My Father and I spotted it as we were leaving the Cleveland national a few years ago; I immediately approached the seller and said "how much?" He replied, "300", I said sold! Then his buddy came up and adjusted the price a good deal and since we'd already spent the bulk of our card-cash, we had to pass. The dealer gave me his number and said call him somewhere down the road and we can work something out. Long story short, his number was lost, as well as my hopes to every getting this card. The next national, in Chicago, I was walking around on dealer-day and spotted the card in his case. He said a gentlemen was eyeing it as it was the last card he needed for his set, I ponied up the cash and it made my show. I was really surprised it hadn't sold but also elated to add it to my collection. It was a bittersweet pickup.

Good story! Not the first time I've heard of somebody's show being made within the first few minutes of arriving.
Getting a second chance at something like that is very cool. Did he remember you from the year before?
Congrats again on the PC. It's 7 degrees of awesome and since it is Moore, I can't imagine a better collection for it to be in.

When scanned at a high enough DPI, the details on T200s are absolutely phenomenal.
