Never seen that card before. Will definitely go for big money. I think the last m101-5 that sold was an SGC 30 for around $10k

I'm familiar with the 1915 w-unc's, but wasn't aware that Thorpe was in the set. Amazing card!!
And thanks for the heads up Todd.

I'm not aware of any. Actually, I took some liberties is saying it would be in his auction. What happened is I received my Oldcardboard e-mail newsletter, which listed the 1915 w-unc set as being updated on its site and which site then added a gallery. The gallery has several cards that did not appear in my SCD big book (including Thorpe), and gave credit to Lew for the info. His teaser email sometime back said he would have cards from a scarce 1910's W set, so I figured this must be what he meant. I would bet it is his Thorpe, although I guess I have no idea if he will auction it or has other plans.
Here is the gallery:

Great group of 1915 eunc's - many unique poses in there that I've never seen on any other card.
Would love to find out where these actually came from. Any hypotheses?

I note that Old Cardboard dates this set to 1915, while Lipsett states that it is a 1916 issue.
I guess that Lew mistyped.

The link above is a part of the Exhibitman site which shows three exhibit cards of Thorpe and two strip cards (in indian costume) in images 49, 50 & 51.
