get a CCD scanner so you'll be able to scan "depth"...useful for slabheads (even though you're not one it doesn't hurt to be future-proof and have options).

my sister got a sweet wifi scanner/printer/copier that you can print from anywhere but it doesn't have CCD so i still have to wire up my notebook when i need to scan cards (which is a chore for lazy people).
