Hof Rookie Exhibit Cards
Since we have a new member that is very knowledgeable on Pre-War exhibit Cards.
Yes Scott, I'm talking about you.
I thought I would start a thread about Hofers that have rookie cards in Pre-War Exhibit sets.
I think there are quite a few if I'm not mistaken
I'll start with the most famous one of all, the 1925 Gehrig
Not mine, Lifted from VCP site.

Re: Hof Rookie Exhibit Cards
I believe I remember a 1925 Gehrig Exhibit card selling in a Goodwin Auction for over 10k recently!

Ouch Guys way to post two I need, haha. Lots of HOF Rookies, two sets have a ton- 1925-29 PC Backed and the 1931-32, also Durocher being on the same card as Ruth and Gehrig is rough. Here's a bunch, enjoy-

Scott,
Incredible cards. I looked for a Simmons for over 6 years. I have now been looking even longer for a '26 Gehringer.

Ott
Wow super nice Ott, thats one of two I am down to on my 29-30 set, got an extra haha. Yes the 1926 set is just a bear, I have barely touched the surface on it. It's funny how the scarity on the exhibits is so different, you have years like 21, 22, 27, 28, 34, 35, 36 when you can find most of the cards in a couple years. Then you have years like 23-24, 26, 31-32, 33, 38 that are darn near impossible to find any.

'23-'24
Scott,
I think I am up to about 22 of the '23-'24s after over 10 years of work. I kick myself for not winning some near sets (-1 or 2) from Lew Lipset in the 90's and early 2000s. The top two cards on my wantlist have not changed in several years, '23-'24 Bottomley Exhibit and '26 Gehringer Exhibit.

Re: Hof Rookie Exhibit Cards
HI, I have a suggestion to add to our gallery in Helpful information for collectors.
I personally do not think I have seen or know of all the exhibit cards by year. I know that when I started looking at older cards I was told they were cheap becuase the where everywhere and especially distributed at county fair, so I shyed away from them. I never realized they had 4 in 1 until this post. It would be fun to see an example of a card from each year.
