BEATER WAR!
That's right fellas, it's that time again. Show us your well loved, your bruised, burned and scarred. Let's see some beaters.
Rules: your card must have at least one catastrophic flaw to qualify. Anything beyond that = bonus. Last man standing is declared champion of the beater war.
I'll save my big guns for later, but for now here's a dog of a e96 Dooin to get us rolling:

Description:
-Exhibits only minor corner rounding
-A few light caramel stains.
-One vertical crease and a few wrinkles that don't detract for the overall appearance.
-PERFECT centering and great color! (Cheeks are VERY rosy)

Oh, you wait until I get my scanner warmed up. I have a new pickup that meets this exact criteria.
And in the meantime, there's always this T216 Virginia Extra. Not too bad, but still a beater.

My worst
I just got back from the show here in ATL. I got some VERY bad news from JSA, so I thought I would go ahead and buy something. Since the JSA verdict cost me some good money, and few K I have already dropped this month, I was having a hard time freeing up the wallet.
This one made me feel OK about the day!

It is interesting to see try to figure out the threshold between SGC A and SGC 10, as evidenced by the last two cards.

It was listed with a $80 BIN/Best Offer.
It didn't get any bids or offers.

Re: BEATER WAR!
....not pre-war. Has a little bit of everything; stains, paper loss, tape, tape residue, creases, pinholes, oh and if you look closely and at just the right angle you can see a surface wrinkle. The back is in great shape!

Re: BEATER WAR!
Jay - this is a beaters only thread. That Mack wasn't a beater.
Well maybe a little, but mostly on the bottom.
But a torn and tattered Mack right during the time when he had to sell off the dynasty he created, is so fitting.

Here's a scarce hockey card beater. It's from the C57 set, which is kinda like hockey's version of E107:
